Being a young parent comes with a lot of responsibility—and you shouldn’t have to do it alone. That’s why Greater Waco Legal Services and Waco Family Medicine created Empowered Choices, a program designed to support pregnant and parenting teens. Join us for a free Know Your Rights session to learn how you can legally choose a trusted adult to help care for your child—without giving up your rights as a parent and without going to court. This extra support can help you stay in school, keep working, and focus on your future, while making sure your child has everything they need. The session is open to teens and young parents, as well as anyone in their support network. Come learn your options, ask questions, and leave with a plan.
