Meet the Greater Waco Legal Services Team

Behind every client served and every case resolved, there’s a team of dedicated professionals who make the mission and vision of Greater Waco Legal Services a reality. Together, they ensure that justice is accessible, affordable, and compassionate for every member of our community.

​Led by Founder and Executive Director Kent McKeever (bottom, second from right), the GWLS team brings both expertise and heart to the work of advancing justice. Rachel Dove (top center) and Adriana Perkins (bottom, far right) advocate for families and immigrants with skill and empathy, helping clients navigate complex legal systems with confidence. Jessica Trevino (top, far right) leads our Medical-Legal Partnership, addressing health-harming legal needs in collaboration with healthcare providers. Kate Pennington (bottom, far left), our Community Lawyering Fellow, strengthens outreach and advocacy efforts throughout Waco.

Our client services team—Angelica Tremillo (top, far left), Val Garcia (top, second from left), and Teresa Garcia (top, second from right)—are the first friendly faces many clients meet. Their dedication ensures that every individual feels supported, informed, and cared for from start to finish. Our client service team is bilingual in English and Spanish, helping bridge language barriers so every client can fully understand and participate in their legal journey. Kayla Mize (bottom, second from left), our Director of Operations and Impact, ensures that the systems, strategy, and resources behind the scenes allow this vital work to flourish.
